The Young Apprentices – You’re Hired?

Young apprentices at Skoda have been let loose with a car of their choice from the Skoda range and tasked to come up with a modified design. They chose the Citigo Sport and got to work…..
They added under-chassis neon lights, a 300 watt music system alongside LED lights that react to whatever is being played, striped seats, took out the back seats and replaced them with hoops as roll protection and fitted a spoiler. Perhaps more drastically, they removed the roof! Yes that’s right, completely removed it – not too sure what they expect people to do when it rains as it does not have the option to close.
The black and blue, twin exhaust CitiJet will be on display at the Worthersee Festival in Austria next week.
According to Bohdan Wojnar, the firms board member for Human Resources, it shows the imagination and creative skills of Skoda’s newest generation workers. This was backed up by Jozef Kaban, Head of Auto Design at Skoda, who said it had been a labour of love for the young apprentices and they should be proud of their unique design.
Personally, I’d just be worried about going out without an umbrella!!
