New Audi Hatchback Spotted in Germany

Audi’s hottest hatchback has recently been spied getting testing in Germany, with an RS3 Saloon expected to follow.
Audi is currently working on its most powerful A3 model. Revealed in these spy shots, the new Audi RS3 was spotted being taken for a spin on public roads in Germany and will be radically changed styling wise to mark it out from the rest of the Audi line up.
On the front of the car, you can make out a new front bumper design with larger air intakes along with a lower ride height. While round the back the telltale RS oval exhausts indicate this as the range-topping model. Larger alloy wheels and bigger brakes are also expected to be fitted.
The current car’s 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine will remain, but a slight increase in power to around 360bhp is looking likely. Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system will also be standard.
The RS3 will be as light and as efficient as possible utilising MQB architecture . The performance boost and likely weight reduction should improve on the current car’s 0-62mph sprint of 4.4 seconds. Expect to see an RS3 Saloon to follow.
