Elf Run raises £345 for Diabetes UK

We are pleased to continue our sponsorship of the Vasstech Elf Run for a second year! Each year, children across three age groups participate in the Elf Run. After, parents and children were invited to carry on the festivities, welcoming Santa into Northallerton!

Thanks to your generous donations, the 115 runners raised £345 for 2017s Vasstech Elf Run, surpassing what was raised in 2016! The sponsorships that we receive allow us to ensure that every penny from each £3 entry is donated to Diabetes UK.

Diabetes UK

Diabetes affects more people in the UK than any other health condition. Diabetes UK wants to combat this growing crisis, by offering care, support, and prevention through fundraising and research. This charity assists local diabetes groups such as South Tees Family Group. This organisation is a parent-run support group, designed to offer reassurance to families of diabetic children and young adults.

The money that has been raised will help us towards our vision: A world where diabetes can do no harm, where fewer people get diabetes, where those with diabetes live well, and where ultimately a cure is found.
