How we service air conditioning at Vasstech

Volkswagen recommends that their air conditioning systems are serviced every two years. Checking if your air conditioning is working is an easy task: if your vehicle doesn’t cool down with you turn it on, or if the vents are hissing, it’s probably telling you everything you need to know.

Servicing air conditioning at Vasstech is a simple process. After we’ve left our air con machine to warm up – and put on the suitable protective attire – we can start re-gassing the whole system (withdrawing the old gas and replenishing with new). We also put a UV dye into the oil, to make sure there are no leaks in the system.

Every single car contains a different level of gas, and we programme our machines to accommodate for this. Once we’ve turned the valves on and sealed the system, we can leave the machine to do its thing. A simple process that ensures your air conditioning is working at full capacity!
