National Classic Car Day 4/4/14

Chris Evans has decided that Friday 4th April is ‘National Classic Car Day’. The Radio 2 presenter seemed to come up with the idea live on his breakfast show earlier this week. The idea is that you drive your colleagues to work on Friday and donate the petrol money to Children in Need. Chris’ love of classic cars is already well known so it can be no surprise he has come up with this novel way to support such a good charity.
The rules do seem a bit loose with Evans saying ‘If you consider it a classic, then it’s ok, class is in the eye of the beholder.’
Initially, he planned to hold it this Friday (28th) but when he found out it was Wear A Hat Day on behalf of Brain Tumour Research decided to push it back to the following week.
