Skoda Named Car Maker of the Year

It’s been a bumper start to the year for Skoda, with around 39,000 new cars being registered in the first 6 months. This now means that they have had a record breaking six months. It also comes on the back of them selling 66,081 units last year in the UK , this is an amazing 21% increase when compared the previous year. Now to top it off at the recent 2014 Motor Trader Industry Awards they won not one but two awards.

First off Liam Cusack from Benfield Skoda in Newcastle took home the Sales Manager of the Year Award. Then Skoda were awarded the Car Maker of the Year Award.

Now, we at The Vasstech know all about the quality of Skodas’ so it’s nice to see them getting recognised by their peers as one of the best car manufacturers. Of course this isn’t the first time Skoda have been given this award, they did in fact win back in 2007.
